We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor who wants real responsibility, visibility, and a genuine voice in how projects are run.
Explore Modular is a growing UK modular construction and main contracting business delivering projects across education, healthcare, and public sector frameworks.
Due to continued growth, we’re expanding our commercial team and are looking to appoint a QS to join our friendly, collaborative office in West Horndon.
This role is ideal for someone comfortable owning the commercial process month to month, working closely with operations and accounts in a practical, no-nonsense environment.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and management of monthly CVRs
* Producing monthly payment applications
* Presenting payment certificates to accounts
* Working with Operations to validate subcontractor claims
* Supporting cost control and commercial reporting
* General commercial and administrative support to the wider team
👤 What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
* Confident running CVRs and applications independently
* Experience reviewing and validating subcontractor claims
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Comfortable working within a small, growing team
* Construction experience essential (modular experience a bonus)
