Explore Modular has been appointed under a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) for the new Coneygear Park Youth Centre in Huntingdon.
Working alongside Turner & Townsend, the design team, we'll now begin the pre-construction phase to develop the project towards delivery.
The proposed facility will provide a modern, flexible community building designed to support young people and the wider local community. The scheme includes a large multi-purpose hall, meeting rooms, office accommodation, kitchen facilities, accessible WCs and landscaped external spaces to create a welcoming community hub.
During the PCSA we'll be focusing on:
✔️Design development and build-ability.
✔️Programme and logistics planning.
✔️Cost certainty and value engineering.
✔️Supply chain engagement.
✔️Early collaboration to ensure the project is ready for a successful construction phase.
Early contractor involvement is one of the best ways to reduce risk, improve programme certainty and deliver better outcomes for our clients, and we're looking forward to working collaboratively with the wider project team over the coming months.
