Today I was on-site as the first batch of steel arrived from BW Industries Limited now with our fabricators and soon heading to The Lister Hospital for our latest NHS Shared Business Services project.
It’s always a powerful moment, standing in front of raw steel that, in just a short time, will become the structure for a building designed to support patients, staff, and the wider community.
It makes you stop and think:
How often do we look at materials like this and see not just steel… but the beginning of something that will genuinely make a difference to people’s lives?
Every beam, every detail, every stage of the process matters when you're building for the NHS and seeing the project start to take shape is a reminder of the responsibility and the privilege that comes with delivering healthcare spaces.
